When I approached this project, I had zero knowledge of ray tracing and I found “From the Ground Up” a mis-leading title for the book because it starts with a pretty complicated pre-made OOP heavy framework with a basic UI etc which while nice, isn’t ideal if you want to learn the basic principles of the ray tracing technique.

I ended up cancelling my pre-order since there seems to be no information about this book’s release anywhere. Submit a new link. If you’re interested in real time graphics consider picking up the third edition of Real Time Rendering, I haven’t read it myself, but I heard it’s really good. I found it a little strange that the framework isn’t even made by Suffern explains no updates.
